Rolls Royce 200EX “Ghost”

Can it get more luxerious!?? Rolls Royce has found a way ;) …somehow.  This amazing new concept, nicknames the “Ghost”, is designed for the rich poor people with a retail price that will be around US$255,000.

The engine is a 6.6 litre twin-turbo V12 rated 571 bhp (426 kW) with ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine will allow the Ghost to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, but it has an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph :( .


Ford Iosis Concept

The Ford Iosis is a four door, four-seat sedan developed by Ford in Europe.  It was designed to showcase the dynamic new design direction Ford intends to pursue in the European Market.  The shape has been said to resemble an Aston Martin, but I really don’t see it, do you?

The Venture One

Here’s the VentureOne, a plug-in hybrid designed to achieve 100 miles per gallon with a top speed of over 100 mph!

Saab Aero-X

The Saab Aero-X was unveiled at the 2006 Salon International de l”Auto.  It is powered by a 2.8 L twin-turbocharged V6 running on pure ethanol that produces 650 hp and a 0-60mph speed in under 4.9 seconds!  It also has a 7-speed manual trip-tonic transmission and a top speed of 250 km/h (limited).



2011 Chevrolet Volt

The 2011 Chevy Volt is a plug-in hybrid and is expected to go into production sometime in November of this year.  It price is going to be around $40,000, but it’s estimated energy produced will only be enough to power the car to 40 miles – no long distance trips :( .  Other than that the design looks flawless, I have to say that they did an amazing job at controlling air flow while maintaining a new look.

Aston Martin One-77

The Aston Martin One-77 was revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.  Only 77 units were made making this care insanely rare and super expensive.   This beast has a 7.3 litre V12 engine with over 700 hp and a six speed automated manual transmission.  Tests in 2009 showed that its’ top speed is 220 mph with a 0-60 time in approximately 3.5 seconds!  3 words, I WANT ONE.

Tesla Roadster

If you haven’t already seen it, the Tesla Roadster is an all electric car  and the first production automobile to use a lithium-ion battery.  It has an average distance of 200 miles (320km) per charge and can go 0-60mph in only 3.7 seconds!   The company has sold over 9000 of them to date with a base price of $109,000 USD.

Cadillac Cien Concept

In 2001 Cadillac introduced the Cien concept at the Detroit Auto Show to celebrate Cadillac’s 100th anniversary.  It had a 7.5L V12 Northstar XV12 engine which produced 750 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque!  The experimental engine featured direct injection and Displacement on Demand, which allowed the engine to run on only six or fewer cylinders.  The design was inspired by the F22 Raptor!


Halo Warthog/Peugeot Hogger

This just shows how much determination some people have :P .  Some people made their own “Warthog” based off of an exact replica of a “Warthog” from halo.  Check it out for yourselves!
